LGSUSD Board of Trustees

I am a parent, community volunteer, and current member of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District Board of Trust- ees. I am seeking election to continue rep- resenting the mountain community on the LGSHSD board.

As a longtime mountain resident, my wife and I have proudly raised our three children in our local public schools. Our children attended Loma Prieta Elementary and C.T. English Middle School before continuing on to Los Gatos High School. My wife, Janice, is a science teacher at Los Gatos High School, giving our family firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges facing students, educators, and families throughout the district.

I have spent years volunteering in support of local schools and youth programs. I served for nearly five years as president of the Los Gatos High School Home and School Club, helping strengthen partnerships between families, teachers, and school leadership.

I have also volunteered with the Wildcat Foundation, coached Los Gatos Little League and Los Gatos United Soccer, served as president of the Encore Swim Team, and participated in the Project Cornerstone program, regularly reading to my sons’ Loma Prieta classes to help foster youth social- emotional competency.

Professionally, I serve in business development with MAI Construction, where I work closely with public- and private-sector clients to develop long-term partnerships and deliver successful outcomes. As a trustee, I am committed to maintaining academic excellence, supporting student wellness, exercising sound fiscal oversight, and ensuring transparent, thoughtful decision-making. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed in a safe, supportive, and inspiring educational environment.

I am running for re-election to continue serving the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District because I believe strong public schools are the foundation of a strong community. I remain committed to listening to families, supporting educators, and making decisions that put students first while preserving the excellence that makes our high-school district exceptional.
